We’re having a laugh despite Covid19

We are proud beyond belief to be working with the amazing team at the Clever Monkee Comedy Festival - driven by the desire to keep live events alive, they have pulled together a comedy line up that would make the organisers of Live at the Apollo proud.

Hannah Isted and Dan Corderoy are the core of this operation with comedian Alistair Barrie providing the comedy connection. Calling in friends, family, colleagues past and present they have pulled off a three-night festival of laughs with Alistair as compere each night, the line up is Marcus Brigstocke, Sara Barron, Chris McCausland on the 3rd December, Daliso Chaponda, Jen Brister and Ed Byrne on the 4th December, and Seann Walsh, Desiree Burch and Hal Cruttenden on the 5th December.

All of this is happening at the East of England Arena and Events Centre who have worked feverishly to create a completely Covid19 secure event with social distancing for up to 500 audience members each night. As we know the situation with Tiers and lockdowns is very fluid so the organising team has secured a no-risk ticket refund if the event has to be cancelled because of Covid19.

Vividink’s Scarlet Bamforth-West said, “It’s a pleasure to be running the social media campaigns for the Clever Monkee Comedy Festival. The organisers are proactive, the Comedians are hands-on, and everyone is working as a team to help promote the festival. There is a real sense of unity, and all manner of people are coming together to play their part. Let’s help get the live event industry back off the ground!”
