Celebrating 12 Years of Vividink Apprentices as part of National Apprentice Week

It has been twelve years since our very first apprentice, James, walked through the doors at Vividink. A decade later, our commitment to the UK apprenticeship scheme remains as strong as ever, and looking back at the talent that has grown within our agency is something of which we are incredibly proud.

From day one, Vividink MD Paul adopted a simple but effective principle for our apprentices: real work, right away. We don’t believe in tea-making roles. When an apprentice joins Vividink, they are given real hands-on work for our clients and the agency. Supervised by experts in their field, they are encouraged to stretch their talents and gain the practical experience that textbooks simply can’t provide.

The Class of Vividink

Over the last twelve years, James was followed by a fantastic succession of talent: Harriet, Georgia, Romina, Scarlet, and our latest apprentice, Jenna.

Each one has brought a raft of fresh ideas, enthusiasm, and creativity to the agency. In return, they have worked on high-profile projects with a stellar client list in the live events and exhibition sectors.

The results speak for themselves. Most of our former apprentices have gone on to secure roles at larger agencies, taken on client-side marketing positions, or ventured into freelancing.

To those who sought new challenges outside Vividink after completing their apprenticeship, it is pleasing to see you all doing so well in your careers. To those who have stayed with us, thank you for being on board as we continue to grow.

Let’s celebrate National Apprenticeship week and here’s to the next decade of discovering and nurturing the UK’s future PR and marketing talent!
